In the North Western part of Mexico City we can find the beautiful park of Tezozómoc, around 30 minutes from the historic city center.

Looking for an oasis in Mexico City? Explore Parque Tezozómoc, ideally early Sunday, and you might have the place almost for yourself.
Enjoy nature, have a nice walk around the lake and admire the representation of the founding of the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan on the island on the lake. No dogs allowed. The entire park is a scaled representation of the Valley of Mexico, as it was in the Prehispanic period (pre-16th century), using berms and hills.Parque Tezozómoc is located in the Azcapotzalco borough, in the northwestern section of Mexico City. It is 28 hectares (69 acres) in size.
